Concern for women and children development foundation is a concept, born out of passion for the well-being of the vulnerable women and children in the Nigerian society, especially in the NE Nigeria. With special interest in reducing suffering in the society in times of crisis. This crisis may be as a result of conflict or natural disaster. The organization is currently focusing its attention on the NE Nigeria. With special emphasis on the BAY (Borno, Adamawa and Yobe) State.

Concern for women and children development foundation (COWACDI) a seed planted for humanity spreading its roots and branches above and beneath the sphere of the world creating a just world in which every vulnerable person attains protection and development, mitigating the impact of suffering through its impact to the souls of the vulnerable/marginalized protecting the right and amplifying the voice of the whisperers. Making plain its core to shelter the needs of all humanity.

COWACDI is not a profit making organization; all its duties do not in any way support financial gain or the promotion of any set of person other than the vulnerable in a given society.
OUR ACHIEVEMENTS
- Currently COWACDF is extending a helping hand to IDPs in the different camps and host communities in Borno State.
- The organization is also in partnership other NGO (s) is undergoing capacity building training in entrepreneurship, environmental management, advocacy workshop etc.
- COWACDI has in time pass contributed to the monitoring of election in Nigeria; this is in the bid to ensuring that all electioneering process is conducted in a very transparent manner.
- COWACDI has visited the motherless babies’ home in Maiduguri in the bid of supporting the well-being of the children without parent.
