COWACDI STANDARD PRINCIPLES
Humanity means that human suffering must be addressed wherever it is found, with particular attention to the most vulnerable.
Neutrality means that COWACDI must not favor any side in an armed conflict or other dispute.
Impartiality means that COWACDI’s Aid must be provided solely on the basis of need, giving priority to the most urgent cases of distress and making no adverse distinction on the basis of nationality, race, gender, religious believes, class or political opinion.
Independence means COWACDI’s action must be autonomous from the political, economic, military or other objectives that any actor may hold with regard to areas where humanitarian actions is being implemented.
