International day of zero tolerance for female genital mutilation

Today, on the International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation, let us unite to bring an end to this detrimental practice. Every girl is entitled to a childhood free from harm and the autonomy to make decisions concerning her own body. We encourage you to join the movement for change and speak out against FGM. #EndFGM #ZeroTolerance

Livelihood

One of the strategic objectives of COWACDI is to raise awareness, promote policy and strategic approaches and advocate in favor of livelihoods actions.

Gender Equality

Empowering women and girls and promoting gender equality are crucial to accelerating sustainable development. Ending all forms of discrimination against women and girls is not only a basic human right, but it also has a multiplier effect across all other development areas.

Empowerment Programme

As part of our mission to mitigate the impact of the suffering of the vulnerable and affected population, Concern for Women and Children Development Foundation (COWACDI) and Hope Alive Care (HAC) in partnership with MCN and supported by the British Council with funding from the European Union were able to empower 50 affected persons by flood in Borno State.
