CELEBRATING WOMEN’S ACHIEVEMENTS, EMPOWERING FUTURES!

A new chapter of opportunity, independence, and economic empowerment has begun for 50 women following the successful Graduation Ceremony of the Women Entrepreneurship Skills Training Programme implemented by the Concern for Women and Children Development Foundation (COWACDI), in partnership with the Nigeria Humanitarian Fund (NHF), across Jere LGA of Borno State. The occasion was graced by the Country Director of COWACDI, the Bulama of Dala Lawanti, community stakeholders, and other distinguished guests, whose presence highlighted the importance of collective action in promoting women’s empowerment and sustainable community development.

A MILESTONE BEYOND GRADUATION!

In a significant step towards supporting their entrepreneurial journeys, each of the 50 graduating women received ₦100,000, amounting to a total of ₦5,000,000 in financial support. This assistance is designed to help the women establish or strengthen their businesses, apply the skills acquired during training, improve their livelihoods, and move closer to financial independence. This achievement represents more than the completion of a training programme. It is an investment in women’s potential, stronger households, resilient communities, and a brighter future for all.

At COWACDI, we believe that when women are equipped with practical skills and the resources to succeed, they become powerful drivers of positive change in their families and communities.

Congratulations to all 50 graduates! May this milestone mark the beginning of thriving businesses, greater opportunities, and lasting economic transformation.

Together, we are building empowered women, stronger communities, and a brighter future!
