Community Base Protection Network and Monitoring skills and approaches were heighted in the training. Our vision and mission, core principles and values were equally used to refresh the minds of our staff and volunteers. Team work spirit and leadership roles were also highlights that were fundamentally touched in the event.
GBV Prevention techniques in Community Engagement were also emphasized during the one day event training.

Capacity building of our teaming staff is one pillar that binds us together and keeps us stronger at all times.

COMMUNITY BASE PROTECTION NETWORK AND MONITORING

Last year, 2019 our organization, with the help of our partners intervened in IDPs Camps in Maiduguri, Borno State. Nigeria. Over 500 hundred households were assisted with NFI and Dignity Kits in Ajilari IDP Camp in Jere LGA of Borno State, Nigeria with a Community Base Approach method of Protection, where beneficiaries are allowed to participate in identifying the Protection risk, threat, challenges… in the community and also participate in making recommendable decision on how best these issues can be mitigated.

Doing so, we as Humanitarian workers have a simple task ahead in our approach; ensuring that the SPHERE STANDARD is duly followed to the later, right and dignity being restored to the vulnerable in the Community where we deliver our services.
