Mass Screening Exercise for the Prevention and Early Identification of Malnutrition Across MMC and Jere LGAs.
The Borno State Primary Health Care Development BOARD (BSPHCDB), with support from Concern for Women and Children Development Foundation (COWACDI), is conducted a mass screening exercise for the prevention and early identification of malnutrition across MMC and Jere LGAs.
As part of the intervention, children are being screened to identify nutrition risks early, while Small-Quantity Lipid-Based Nutrient Supplements (SQ-LNS) are distributed to support improved nutrition and healthy growth.
This activity demonstrates the power of early detection, timely nutrition support, and community-based action in protecting children from malnutrition and building healthier communities.
Together, we can prevent malnutrition before it becomes a crisis.
